CPR Training

EFAW is our one day accredited First Aid Course. Delegates will learn vital life saving skills to be used in the workplace or at home. How to deal with an unconscious casualty or someone having a seizure, what to do if someone falls into cardiac arrest, how to use an AED, dealing with wounds and external bleeding, treatment for burns and how to deal with minor injuries. This qualification is valid for three years.

The 3 day FAW Course is great for higher risk work environments. Delegates will learn all the elements of the EFAW Course on day one, but will then go on to cover fractures, spinal injuries, head injuries, major medical conditions, including asthma, anaphylaxis,  angina, heart attack, stroke and diabetes. The qualification lasts for three years, but can be renewed within that timeframe with a shorter 2 day course, saving both time and money.

This two day FAW Refresher is for staff who book onto the course before their FAW qualification expires. Delegates will refresh their knowledge of EFAW and FAW subjects in order to renew their qualification certificate. Please note, to book this course a valid FAW Certificate would be required. FAWR is currently only available 'in house'. Please contact us to discuss your needs.

This half day Fire Safety Awareness Course is ideal for new members of staff as part of their induction training into the workplace, or for current staff who need to refresh their knowledge on fire safety matters. Delegates will learn about common causes of fire and how to prevent them, fire safety legislation, their responsibilities under current health and safety law, the responsibilities of Fire Wardens, what to do in the event of a fire, the fire triangle, how to recognise fire safety signage, classes of fire and which extinguisher to use on each of them.

This Level 2 Award in Fire Safety is ideal for supervisors, managers, health and safety operatives or fire safety wardens. Delegates will learn all the elements of the Level 1 course, plus more in-depth content about fire behaviour, backdraught and flashover, fire safety precautions, arson, how to carry out a fire safety risk assessment, recognition of fire hazards and liaison with the  fire and rescue service.
